Learn soap making at our farm in Omaha, Nebraska! This hands-on workshop is an introductory course to making both cold and hot process soap from scratch.‍ ‍We will discuss all of the supplies needed, safety procedures, basic soap recipes, and then dive into both cold and hot process soap making together. Workshop space is limited; get an automatic $10 discount when registering 2 + participants.

Time and location:

• June 5th, 6-8 PM at 6915 Evans Street

What to expect:

• Outdoor workshop: soap making, farm tour, and complimentary tea

• Long sleeves and closed toed shoes encouraged for both soap making and walking around the garden

• All materials provided, including safety equipment such as apron, gloves and glasses provided

• Tutorial hand-out provided, feel free to bring a notebook and pen as well!

• Take home 1.5 lb of soap we make together during the workshop

• Workshop instructor, Michelle, has ~8 years of soap making experience

Accessibility:

• This workshop takes place outdoors on gravel and/or mulched surfaces; some ground is uneven

• Accessible parking is available in the driveway; plenty of street parking available

• Table and chairs provided for workshop attendees

• Please note that the only restroom facility on-site is a portable toilet
