Sunchoke seed tubers are harvested fresh for orders! Jerusalem Artichokes, also called Sunchokes, are a beauty in the garden and a tasty addition to a meal in the kitchen. A widely adapted perennial to many regions of the U.S. and a cold hardy tuber here in Nebraska. Sunchoke seed tubers are white-fleshed & creamy-skinned; grown using organic and sustainable practices at our farm.

The variety was originally foraged by a friend and we planted a few lbs to grow the stock from there. It's a white tuber that we could be described as similar to White Fuseau although the exact variety remains unknown. Depending on the harvest, there are about 10 tubers per lb and some tubers are much larger than others.

Order for fall planting! Tubers are dug fresh for orders. Nationwide shipping with USPS Priority Mail begins late October, all depending on when tubers size up. Shipping will continue through November and December, until sell out or freeze. A confirmation email will be sent the week before shipping. PLEASE NOTE that Jerusalem Artichoke orders do not qualify for free shipping.
